MAGELLAN VOCAL POINT
The ATEÏS ‘Vocal-Point’ is the first desk-top voice- and induction loop amplifier that should not be missed on your counter desk. It serves people that have a hearing disability and or have a hearing aid that can receive induction loop transmissions. These days with the open desk counters, discretion becomes more and more an issue and a raising voice from the service-agent does not attribute to the descrition. The Vocal-Point helps to bring the 20 dB signal amplification above the normal hearing level for people with a hearing disability and at the same time maintains maximum discretion due to the customers handheld speakerphone and induction antenna.
Due to the long history of developing and manufacturing of electronics, ATEÏS knows best what to create when customers come to us with a need. ATEÏS has looked closely to the needs of their customers and used their long experience on counter-intercom to put this into the design of the ‘Vocal-Point’. Specialized in product industrialization, pick-up microphones with integrated functions like auto-gain and peak-limiting, the ‘Vocal-Point’ will guarantee for durability and ease of use. The microphone in the desk-unit is carefully constructed to avoid any vibrations transmitted from the desk to the desk-unit. The induction antenna is complying with IEC 118-1.
The customer can either listen using the induction antenna through his or her’s pick-up coil in the hearing aid, or can lift the handset that acts like a speakerphone.
